How do I make a video of a game ?

I am having an in game problem and Bethesda wants me to make a video of the occurrence. I did a search and couldn't find info on making an in game video. Can anyone lead me to a tutorial? I play through Steam on PC.

if nvidia user use nvidia overlay to record video. if graphic card is strong enough and support it.

If you're using Windows 10, the pre-installed Xbox Game Bar app can record games.

You'll need to capture ie record the game during playing. Like make a small tutorial. Even just few minutes.
You can use a mic and talk or have no audio.
Then if you want to edit it you'll need a video editor.
Convert it to mp4 then upload to youtube, then go back to your profile >videos> link to youtube. you must log in to youtube.. and select video from the left then select the game it refers to and add. Done
Video is now in your profile Videos. You can share a link to it from Steam profile or from YouTube and save uploading it to your Steam profile..
If you know the recording software you want to use use that to google a tutorial, more on the right
