Hot tip for no sound on tv while connected to HDMI in some games
So I've come across this problem for a few games, and one day decided to try and disable the speaker/headphones that was defaulted on my computer. To my surprise, it worked! For some games when the game starts when plugged into a TV, it decides it still wants to play on the computer/laptop as its default. To fix this (on windows) simply right click the speaker icon on your task bar, select "sounds" (or find sounds in your control pannel), then disable the computer/laptops default "speaker/headphones" option. Now, when you plug in your HDMI cord, the sound settings will pick the TV as the default (which it normally does) and will not revert back to the computer/laptop when you launch a program or game!

Happy gaming friends!

Yes windows is plug and play to change the order of playback devices sometimes we have to remove one re-insert another and it is then detected .
