How to hide in-game activity?
Hey looking to hide in-game activity. Honestly I find it stupid that Steam is broadcasting every single detail of what i'm doing in my games so i'd like to remove it.

I doubt Valve are stupid enough to not have this option built in right?? Nah no way.

As far as I know that's what game details covers.

This category includes the list of all games on your Steam account, games you’ve wishlisted, your achievements and your playtime. This setting also controls whether you’re seen as "in-game" and the title of the game you are playing.

If you want to be seen as playing the game, but not what specifically you are doing in the game, I don't believe there is an option for that.
^This.

It's either hide yourself what you're playing, or don't.

Set "Game Details" to private. To avoid people being able to see what you are playing by looking at your avatar on the Steam forums, sign out of friends. You may wish to set Steam to not log in to friends automatically.
No I refuse to make it so no one can see what i'm playing.

Which is it, did you want to hide what you're playing, or do you want people to know what you're playing? You can only use one, or the other option.

What exactly is it you want? You want to hide in-game activity, from who?
I am currently playing HMCC "in the Halo Reach Campaign, on Heroic Difficulty." or playing HMCC "In the Main Menu - Lobby" I want to know how to disable that.

Well I guess i'll have to change that option everytime I play a game that has that annoying garbage in it. At least I was only testing it through Family Sharing and HMCC is on the Windows Store I guess.
