Steam pops up endless tabs on browser
Upon opening steam, my browser will open up endless tabs of "error" pages, which makes it impossible to play games on steam.

Uninstalling steam and redownloading it didn't work.
Opting in and out of beta version doesn't work.
Big picture mode kinda fixes it but is constantly opening tabs within the steam client, which is a maximum of 6.

Can you take a screenshot?

When you deleted cache you restart the client, and test?

When you said you reinstall, did you ensure to delete all files from the Steam folder? If the issue file remains after uninstalling, then it will still be there when reinstalling, so when uninstalling, ensure to delete the whole Steam folder. If you want to keep games, and screenshots, move the Steamapp folder, and userdata folder that's inside the Steam folder outside of the Steam folder, then place back those folder after you have uninstall, delete everything, and reinstall afterwards then place the two folders back before launching Steam.

Any mods?
Any custom skins?
Any patching, or custom change to the client files?

Are you using avg, or avest? If so they may target Steam, and cause problems.

Try these testing these settings, and see if they help you out.

try deleing cahce on your broswer as well.

I don't see why tabs will be opening when you launch your client as that shouldn't be happening at all.
