error 0xc000007b
just finished installing, the game goes to launch and as soon as the exe finishes its thing, this error pops up.
Verified integrity of files... fine.
Did a quick google search and apparently this is an error common with trying to run 32/64 bit stuff
But my Computer runs on 64 bit

Anyone have any idea how I can fix this?

0xc000007b error on Halo MCC
Yea so i keep getting the same error despite uninstalling and reinstalling, adding .dll files updating windows and some other crap that didn't work.

Anyone got a fix that'll solve this because I've waited too long for this and payed 30 for a game i cant play right now. Much appreciated :)

I had the same issue, spent all night troubleshooting and just now got it to work. What finally worked for me was uninstalling all of my Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable files (both x86 and x64) through Programs and Features, then downloading the latest x64 Visual Studio 2015, 2017, and 2019 Redistributable straight from Microsoft.

For me, all I had to do was run Windows Update. I'm on Windows 10, so I could do this by

Clicking the "Windows" task bar Button in Windows
Clicking "Settings"
Clicking "Update and Security"
Clicking "Windows Update"
