Question about family library sharing
I don't know the specifics for certain, but I get the impression a library in use means the library owner is running the Steam client. Assuming that's correct, if I share my library with someone, and a specific game is not installed on my PC, can the one I shared my library with play that game, even when my library is in use?

Does not matter if he plays a game that is not installed on your own pc at the time.
Only one person can use ( play a game) a family shared library at the same time.

But there are some workarounds, for example the owner can go into Steam Offline mode and play a game, the person who gets the library shared can still play the owners games at the same time.

Well that kinda sucks. I play my Steam games more than my brother plays on his PC, making it very unlikely he'll get to spend any significant amount of time on any of my games.

Thanks for the tip.
