Anyone else having music CD's play when gaming specifically old valve game?
I own a pc with a CD/DVD drive and I have a music CD (Led Zeppelin) in all the time, but when I started playing Half-Life Opposing Forces I heard music play, I thought at the time it was the game and my pc did so to as well, using my volume mixer the music was coming from the game, but when playing Counter Strike Condition Zero Deleted Scenes I had the music play again randomly. The only common thing I found in common is its the first music track on my CD and it only start when im in the game for at least for 10 minutes. Also the song replays its self when I die or leave the game. Only in Half-Life Opposing Forces have I heard the music stop when im in the menu, tab/window out of the game or when a level loads in or out. Can someone tell me if someone had the same thing happen to them, also I would like to know how this can happen.

There are a lot of older games that will play whatever audio tracks are on a CD in the drive.

Quake, Half-Life, lots of them. It's part of the game so not much you can do beyond not have the disk in or turn music off.
Okay. Thanks for the info, ill keep that in mind when having a CD in and playing a older game. Never happend to me before so thanks for the heads up.
