Game Collector Showcase Bugs?

1- Why can't I add the games I preordered there ? if it's by design then this is very lame and has to be changed!
2- Why it says that I have 418 games while I have 653 games in my library ??

Games that have been removed from the Store or are in the learning phase don't count. If a game isn't released then you don't own it yet either - all you've done is given the publishers money so you get access to a digital licence down the line.

All pre-orders appear in users library but the product isn't released yet. Why the hell does something so tiny matter so much?

There are many games that don't count towards the badge.

1. Free2Play games don't count.

If the game isn't out yet, been removed from Steam store, free to play, or under review learning, then they do not count towards your profile page game count.

Yeah which means it's a bug.
I don't care what's removed and what's not, I have X amount of games in my library so I expect to see the same X in the showcase (including the preorders) other than that it's a bug, and a stupid one which should be fixed.

Something done by intent is not a bug. The API has been designed this way.

If you want your unreleased pre-ordered licences to count towards your game count leading up until release then you'll have to go begging to Valve.

No, it's not a bug, it's a bug only if it's not doing what it's suppose to do, by design of it, which ATM it's working correctly, and isn't a bug as you claim, as you already been explain how it works, it doesn't works how you want it to be.

Things that do not count towards game count on profile page only.
- Games not release.
- Games still under learning process.
- Games that had been removed from store.
- Free to play games.
- Non Steam games.

Your profile game count has zero affect, nor has anything to do with your library games, as profile game count goes off by what's currenty on the store itself only that's release, not under learning process, and hasn't been removed, nor is it free to play, and is on the Steam store.

It's reads what on the store, not what put into the library. Your library isn't the store, just incase you didn't know.

Complain to them, not to me. The game count on profile goes by what on the store page.

Has it occurred to you that if you are going by just the total on your library page that you may be counting soundtracks and tools as well? You can change your filters to display only one or the other of those and then create a collection to contain them exclusively. Separating them out lets you get a much better idea of what you have.

i just bougt 5 new games now but game collectors showcase dont count of that i have 877 in my library "game collector meybe counts all games ?" thats what its mean ? im wrong ? a collector just collect items, doesnt matter where it comes ?
