Activating a game in a different region?
Situation:

- Preordered a Resident Evil 3 key on GreenManGaming.
- Situated in Ukraine, no idea if GMG keys are region locked, but I assume they are.
- Planning to go on vacation to the EU on the day before RE3's release.

Question:
Will I be able to activate that GMG key in the EU region on MY Steam account?
If not, are there any ways around this? Really want to play it on release.

Thank you!

No, because you will still be seen as being in your home region.
Hm, I thought Steam adjusted the pricing according to my current location and was worried it would do the same for keys.

Hope it works like you described, thank you!
When you move location, your Steam Store will remain the same as it is now because the prices and store location is based on your authorised payment method attached to the account rather than your determined location. This stops users from using a VPN and manipulating their location to get games cheap.

You should be fine though and I have a feeling GMG will probably send out global keys anyway.

Your location is determined by the authorised payment method attached to your account so if you have a Ukranian geographical payment method, your geographical location will remain there even if you're on the other side of the world.

I understand, but will it interfere with me trying to activate the key in a different region?

No, because you will still be seen as being in your home region. GMG will distribute the key based on your purchase location too so if the key is region restricted then you will just activate it as normal because Steam will base your fixed geographical location off your payment method which is also how GMG determined your key locale.
