How to disable creepy people from joining my game?

I play Dead by daylight and have random people joining my lobby, without being friends. I found a random person in the discussions to see, that I had the option to join his game from his profile page. I've had several creepy people joining over and over again, and would like to know how to disable it, without having to make my profile completely private.

Edit profile>Privacy>Game details>Friends only/Private

Note that if you have it set on private your friends will not be able to see what game you're playing and won't be able to join you.

You mean the same people joining everytime? Sounds like stalker material. I suppose you can make your profile private for a few days until they lose interest or something, or block them. If it's different people, then yeah, change game details privacy.

On the bright side, people won't be able to scout your games list for account hijacking, so yeah...

It’s now and then a random person decides to join my lobby. When I tell them that I don’t want them in my lobby and kicks them out, they join again. More like a troll.

What this user suggest doesn't make your profile private but only the game details which prevents from joining your game via profile.

People can still stalk you through your friends list and access your friend's profile that are public to join in your game whenever you play with your friends.
