Split Screen
how can i play games and browse online or watch netflix at the same time (on win10)? even though i open steam in a split screen next to a chrome window for example, then click on play, it automatically opens the game in full screen.

Open the game in windowed mode, if available.

Two monitors is so much more effective at this kind of thing.

But by adding -windowed to the Launch Properties of the game, you can window it.

2 monitors will be the perfect solution. Although is also the expensive one...

(Also tends to give my neck cramps, but that's the breaks, I need two for what I do lol)

You can "fix" that by buying a third monitor XD

fwiw, you can get a cheap TV or small monitor for a second screen, like <$100 US. Or if your video card still has a VGA port then find an old CRT at a yard sale or whatever; might even get one for free just so the owner can get rid of it to save space.
