Squad Won't Launch!

I got a new laptop, Razer Blade Stealth with GTX 1650. It should have no issues playing this game as my last Surface Book 2 with a GX 1050 had no issues. I downloaded Steam and Squad fresh with no pre-existing files and it will never launch. I click 'play', EAC launches in the Task Manager, then disappears and it never launches. It briefly has the small loading box pop up but nothing else. I have tried quite a bit:

Validating integrity of files
Clearing Download cache in Steam, and the logs in User files
Repairing/ Reinstalling EAC through source files under steam and steamapps
Opening DXSETUP.exe under DirectX files in steamapps and following the setup process
vcredist update, I've tried a few things here but not entirely sure I did everything correctly.
It will not launch when I try in steam or if I go to the source files and try the launcher directly.
I put '-noeac' for the launch options but it still won't launch
I tried uninstalling the Canadian DLC, still doesn't work
I allowed Steam, Squad, and East Anti Cheats through the firewall and doesn't work

Other games do launch from steam, like Rainbow Six Siege
