can't open Steam on Google Fi internet

I had to swap from my old ATT hotspot to Google Fi and now Steam won't open on any computer on this particular wifi. It's being hotspotted from a phone currently. Any suggestions?

Contact Google FI and ask them why they consider Steam to be controversial.

Certain mobile providers hate Steam as it's bandwith hog.

Ended up switching carriers, Google was literally zero help because all they did was pass me around to various Indian call center workers.

Which carrier is gamer friendly?
I"m not going to use online play via phone, but I just want pass DRM to play offline.

I had same issue on Google FI hotspot / tethering.

As I tested Google FI, it does not connect followings
* Steam
* Nindendo online
* Windows Remote Desktop
But only Xbox was OK.

Their customer service is not helpful at all. Google FI is on T-Mobile service, and T-Mobile did not have the issues. Only Google FI has so many port blocked.
