Unusually low download speed on 1 account, higher speed on another.
I've recently resetted my PC, and on my alt account, Ive had significantly lower download speed than on my main. On my alt I only get about 500KB/s, while on my main I get about 5-6MB/s. I've tried updating my driver's, and those didn't work. I also tried clearing the download cache, that didn't work. I honestly have no idea why this is happening.

sounds like 1 is laptop and other is desktop, sure other things can cause this, but if all use same software and security , then its the setup on laptop i bet is the slowest one.
and i doubt you have read other post i try to slap laptop owner for own mistakes so they never forget it again. ( use FULL Performance ), insert own profanity word here so you never do that again, gl with it.

Steam Now Has One Billion Accounts (And 90 Million Active Users)
and how many is laptop owner's, and to info all laptop user is impossible for own mistake and setup choise, its a lost cause already and again not our job to tell you this. and not steam job to tell you this, its user's own problem for not knowing the diffrence in Balance mode and full performance mode, and it do say it in the Manual, use Full performace then needed somthing like that, it did say that in mine.

so dont ever compare Laptop pc, with a desktop pc ( this is same as compare Diesel Engine vs Gasoline Engine, not possible ) laptop is build for max power saveing , desktop is not.

well enough of this explanation i can only hope Laptop owner's get this.
