I never even knew it worked on Vista...
I couldn't get it to work on Windows 7, even though it came with
Tiberium Wars... So I dunno if it will work on Windows 10...
I can always test Tiberium Wars on Windows 10, though...
Tiberium Sun & Firestorm, i've yet to test, but don't have a CD Key to try it...
but say yes it will , i will not, alot of old cd-rom still have security issue that cant be read by blueray drev. ( this is because all of the old copy protection on cd rom give newer drev problem.
you need to get this fast , dont buy games to wrong older OS, if you dont want to fiddle with start up issue. alot of older games require modification in diffrent ways. ( experience user know this )
and stop ranting , just because you dont understand it dont make it right.
i bet other C&C player can tell you this. in own game forum, problem is as i recall C&C is Origin not steam game.most of my C&C is at EA. ( so learn your crap better who is support )
sure you can have a point , but some game is not sold at steam anymore. you could have such a game.
I'm not sure if it will work on Windows 10 though. You'll have to ask someone actually using that OS.
I heard they were working on a remake though, maybe that will work with your Windows 10?
You only have Windows 10? Nothing else?
Maybe Microsoft can help you? They should support their OS. That's what you are paying them for.
(You could be screwed, if you have Windows 10, and may have to contact their support.)
All hardware that support DirectX 12 will support DirectX 9 just fine, as they're all backwards compatible, the only ones that is not compatible for most hardware is lower than DirectX 9, such as DirectX 8, or lower.
I assume you're talking about command and conquer that on Steam because those will work on Windows 10, what you stated since you didn't explain what the error was, I will assume you did not have your drivers install in order to play the game, which all you have to do is install the driver, and you're able to play the game.
Ok, well ensure you read your error messages, so you understand what the issue are, as well ensure you install your drivers for whatever game you may run that need the following drivers, normally Steam will prompt you to install your drivers when running the game for the first time after downloading.
