My PC wont stop buffering while playing games.
I checked to see if I have any viruses or malware and nothing came up and my pc is running like ♥♥♥♥. All my drivers are up to date and my Internet is perfectly fine. I don't know whats happening and I really need help.

Wat do you mean " buffering" ?
What are your system specs? CPU, RAM ,GPU ,OS ?
In what games does it happen?`
Seriously, if you want help with pc problems, at least provide the minimum information so that people may help you.

My pc has minor freezes when I'm playing any game, for example in CSGO I tap A to go left a little and my game freezes and I'm out in the open. I have a Ryzen 7 2700k, AMD 580, 4 GB RAM. I don't necessarly know a lot about computers so I may not be able to provide some information.

Also when I'm "lagging" it only shows on my screen on other peoples screens I'm not rubberbanding or jumping all over the place.

In your Steam client at the top, choose "Help" and " System Information".
That scans your system for all its hardware. There is a option to copy the result to clipboard.
Just post them here.

If you really only have 4 GB of RAM that could already be the problem. Thats very little for gaming nowadays since both OS like Windows and Steam since its UI update may use up larger chunks of that so that not enough is available for gaming, leading to small stutters when the RAM buffer needs to be flushed to load new data.

And I've been playing with 4GB of RAM for a while and have had no issues
Ogami Feb 2, 2020 @ 11:42am
According to that readout you have 16 GB of RAM.
Your GPU has a additional 4GB of VRAM, i guess you meant that.
With that system you should indeed see no stutters in CSGO.

You said the problem is only recent? Did you change anything on your system?
Do you have the same problems in other games or only in CSGO?

Could also be a display problem, if it only freezes on your side.
Do you have another cable you could try to connect to your monitor?
Or trying another display in general.

I have this issue with every game I play on steam or off steam. And yes it just started recently and I have no idea what could've caused it. And no I have not changed anything.

I don't have another display I can connect to but I can try a different cable
_Penciled Leg_ Feb 2, 2020 @ 12:05pm
No luck
Ogami Feb 2, 2020 @ 12:10pm
Hm, then i honestly have no clue what could cause this problem if nothing else has changed in your system.

Try asking in the Steam Hardware forum, the users there usually have a lot of knowledge about pc hardware and what can cause problems. Maybe someone there has an idea.

https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/11/

State your problem and provide the system specs from above.

4 GB ram, and is it single channel? if so, way too low spec for modern gaming, even having a steam chat open can use a huge chunk of that due to Chromium API.
Dual channel 3200 MHz 4 GB ram might just barely pass for playable... another cause of those freezes is having a hard drive and not SSD.

Buffering, usually is a Setting in a Game, or Windows, or your GPU Software...

That you can Enable, or Disable...

If it's still buffering, even after all this is Disabled, it is possibly due to a Driver issue,
a Game issue, or Windows issue, or possibly a Hardware issue...

PS: Check AMD Release Notes for both your GPU & CPU, AMD has had issues
with both of those items, for like a long time now, there has been maybe 1 or 2
Patches that had them fixed, but even the New Drivers still have issues with them...

Have you read to see if the GPU Drivers & CPU Drivers are your cause?

I think there was a mention that AMD is working on Fixing the Drivers, & are still
working on it... The few latest Patches are not as bad as the older ones, but they
still have issues...

Ensure you plug your display cable to your GPU, not your motherboard, or else it won't use your GPU.
https://i.imgur.com/G42CKIy.png

Also you should read your system information you posted, here is your system specs you posted.
CPU - Ryzen R7 1700

GPU - RX 580 <--- We're assuming it's 4GB VRAM model since you keep saying 4GB.

RAM - 16GB

Now please check if your system not overheating, to do so you need a hardware monitor, such as cupid HWmonitor, clear/reset status, then test playing your game, tell us the highest temps for CPU, and GPU, or if not able to tell us, send us the screenshot of the status, and upload to Imgur, and paste the link to the image into this discussion.

Thank you Dr. shadows.

CPU: 43 C or 108 F

GPU: 83 C or 181 F
