[BUG] Steam Wallet billing information phone number
Tried to purchase a game with my Steam Wallet today, and I was shown with a form to enter my billing information. "That's new..." I thought to myself "But alright..."

I've filled all the details and then pressed "Continue" just to be greeted with an error message saying "Please enter your billing phone number, including area code."

But there is no field to enter a phone number in that form! Nope, none, nada!
(wish there was way to upload a screenshot here).

Then I've tried to go through the help support wizard just end up nowhere. I am not even presented an option to file a Support Ticket.

The only way for me to buy something now is to use my PayPal account, which (fortunately) still works.

PS: It's not a Gift Card, it's a game for my own account.

It's a change that just went through (not requiring a phone number). Your first attempt must have happened just before it went live.

There was another post from someone quoting Steam support saying phone number was no longer required for gift card purchases. Maybe try the purchase again or a little later?

I tried twice in the past 5 or 10 minutes before i gave up and used my PayPal.

I can understand changes and sometimes they might be inconvenient (and introduce bugs) but then, why am I not even presented with an option to send a Support Ticket? Could it be because of my Country?
