Untradeable backgrounds
Hello, I've bought tradecards to make a badge (lvl up) and now I want to sell the backgrounds since I don't need them, it says they're untradeable, and there's no red or yellow text saying there's a tradelock or anything, what's the matter?

Have the same issue with some booster packs I craftet the last couple days and the cards from it. Suddenly all the crafted cards and booster packs are unmarketable und untradeable indefinitely.

When did you buy the cards? Purchasing items from the market marks them as untradeable/unmarketable for 7 days. Anything created from items (E.G. backgrounds from crafting) with restrictions will inherit the remaining restriction.
Bought them like 2 minutes before creating them, meaning today.

You purchased the cards, crafted a badge and received items from crafting. All items inherit their parent restrictions. So, 7 day restrictions apply.

What if it will still be untradeable after 7 days?

Just look on the items info to the right. It'll tell you when you can trade/sell it. If it won't be after 7 days it'll tell you when/how long.

That would only happen if the game is no longer sold on Steam, like a banned game. But that is not the case with the one you mention as you can still purchase the cards on the market.

It doesn't show any date, only say it's untradeable in the tags.

Give it 7 days first. Items received from crafting a badge with trading cards from the market will get the same trade restrictions. Try opening your inventory through your browser to see the date the items will be tradable as the steam client will occasionally not register you being logged in.

As I stated in post #5, you purchased the cards, crafted a badge and received items from crafting. All items inherit their parent restrictions. So, 7 day restrictions apply.

A trading card from the last badge you crafted...

https://steamcommunity.com/id/xdomiiix/gamecards/368450

After purchase, this item:
  • will not be tradable for one week
  • cannot be listed on the Steam Community Market for one week

https://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/753/368450-Muse%20%28Trading%20Card%29

So, the items received for crafting will inherit that trading card restriction. So, 7 days from when you purchased the trading cards.

No account restrictions in that section too.

Same problem here. Bought some cards today for a very low price and it says they're not tradable or sellable and there is no red text saying when can I sell/trade them. I bought the same cards yesterday and they still have the red text. I hope this is just a bug.

The market page itself tells you this...

After purchase, this item:
  • will not be tradable for one week
  • cannot be listed on the Steam Community Market for one week

Don't worry about it not showing the text for the restriction timer.

You probably used gems that had a trade/market hold.
