ARK: How can i play together with another device on the same steam account?

I suppose the question up there was quite confusing. Let me explain.

My brother and I use the same Steam account.
We bought "ARK: Survival evolved" and installed it on two different devices. A laptop and our main PC.

Now i ask you, if there is a way to let my brother join my ARK World or let me join his.

Without creating a server i have to pay for. Just a little private round of ARK.
Me and him. Same world... with same Steam account.

Possible? How?

Which is against Steam Subscriber Agreement...

Library can be used only on one device at same time, so you cant play together by using same account on two different devices. I'm not familiar with ARK, but only way to outwit this restriction is use Steam client in offline mode. Which i cant recommend because giving your account to others is breaking Steam Subscriber Agreement (dont do this). Plus offline mode may not work for multiplayer games if those are using Steam for authorization.

Ask your brother to make his own account and purchace him ARK.

For non-multiplayer games, use Steam Family Sharing, which allow both of you to use same library. There's minor restrictions like cant write a review on game you dont own, but nothing serious.

Steam Family Sharing has same restriction: only one device can use library at same time. If/when someone else trying to use "busy" library, Steam wont allow it. If this someone is Library owner, then Steam will give "guest" 5 mins to save his game and then kick out.
