Buy a Nintendo Switch, if you don't have one.. loads of games for kids that age there..

Steam has less games for 10 year olds, altho, 10 is getting to that age they can play all sorts of games, depending on what parents think is okay content wise. Like they aren't little-little kids without fine motor control.

i think Pokemon Sword/Shield would be fun for kids.
Lets Go Pikachu/Evee may be more fun for a girl kid that's "not really into gaming yet"

On Steam any of the Lego series games would probably work out just fine, and those cover a whole range of themes. Harry Potter, Star Wars, Super Heros, Lego "original content", LOTRs...

It really depends on the kid. I was a sucker for Civilization 2 and the Eye of the Beholder games at the time (might have to do with older syblings), many kids seem to love racing games, even the 'harder' and 'more realistic' ones. Apart from this:

Minecraft and Roblox are the first ones that come to mind. Games like Worms (any of them, though I prefer Armageddon with my kids), Equilinox, Cook Serve Delicious, Divide by Sheep, Cat Quest, Crypt of the Necrodancer, the Lego games also will do.

But it depends. Some kids of that age like to play a Civilization or Football Manager game.

i think nintendo switch is a good preference for young players and there are games for the age group u want more

for example u can play the legend of zelda, pokemon, overwatch, animal crossing (i guess it's not available yet) xenoblade chronicles etc. xx
