As of now I don't believe you can delete the history. It is automatically deleted after 2 weeks? (or 4?)

Chat history [on Steam] is deleted automatically after 2 weeks.

There's no manual delete button within the client.

With its removal after two weeks, it's also gone from the account data page.

i have messages from september....

Does this appear in the client or your mobile device?
