Login failure help :(

I had a few login failures and then I got an error saying too many login attempts on this network. So I waited a day and it gave me the same error. I can’t login to my steam phone app or the browser on my laptop. But I can still login to through the browser on my phone and the steam application on my laptop. How long do I have to wait before I can login and if not how do I fix this problem. I just want to login the phone app so I can confirm trades or market sell listings.

Good luck, I'm currently at 84 hours and counting waiting for my lockout to end. I tried installing the mobile app to add the 2 factor authentication. It wouldn't accept the authenticator code that steam sent to my e-mail and then logged me out then wouldn't recognize my login then told me too many logins. I was logged out of everything and couldn't log in. I had to reset my password which allowed me to login to the desktop client but I cannot login on any browser or the mobile app without recieveing this error even 84 hours later. Some people can resolve it by changing their IP (reset your modem/rounter or force an IP change) or trying to login from some other network like a public library's wifi. Those did not work for me. Nothing I've tried has helped and I've tried many things. STEAM says they can't do anything you just have to wait it out. Not an issue when your waiting 2 hours even 24 hours but passing 84 hours seems like something seriously wrong with the system.

I don’t know what happened but today I got signed out of everything and signed in again and it all started working again. It took almost 3 days but I can login to everything now. Best of luck to you and thanks for commenting.
