Steam BUG: NOTIFICATION Doesn't Go AWAY!!!

Whenever a USER watches a game I am playing, the following notification stays on the screen and won't..GET LOST:

Broadcast
Steam changed Broadcast
encoding to "Best Performance"
Please fix this ASAP! It's so freaking ANNOYING!!!

BUG REPORT - Broadcast Notification Stays On Screen! (Doesn't go away!)

Whenever a user wants to watch my stream through Steam's Broadcast, but the viewer LEAVES before the broadcast has loaded, this *Broadcast Notification stays in the corner of my screen and won't go away! PLEASE FIX THIS BUG!!!

The Notification says:
Steam changed Broadcast encoding to "Best Perfomance"

WTF is wrong with you, not fixing something as obtrusive/annoying as this?
If you're (actually) trying to legitimately compete with Twitch, you can't make rookie-@$$ mistakes like this where you leave a bug unanswered, let alone unfixed, for MONTHS.

Popular gamers get lots of live stream views from Steam. And as Steam users we are entitled to be "enraged" for a bug which has been around for more than 2 years. His (understadable) comment was from last year. But the bug has just been fixed a few weeks ago! You don't understand because you don't have Steam viewers... -_-
