Go to Steam menu / Settings
Select Downloads, then Steam Library Folders
In the screen that show then, right click on EACH of the libraries showing and select "Repair library Folder"
Restart Steam and try installing your game again.
is corrupted?
Installing a game uses the Temp folder to store temp files as it unpacks the game files so those files cannot be deleted as in use.
Stop the install then try deleting the contents only of the temp folder.
Some files maybe still used by windows explorer and cant be deleted.
Try safemode.
because i tried to open it and said it is corrupted
i can´t access the temp folder
not sure, but i think you need to exit steam, goto that game folder and wipe it,
restart steam, and i hope it let you start over. ( best guess, game fail to do pre-allocations of space. )
i tried to delete, install unlocker to delete the folder, none of this worked.
so i opened cmd and put the command chkdsk /f and finally i could deleted the folder.
Now i can download new games again.
thanks everyone for the help.
heh, then you did really have a disk problem, every time someone mention chkdsk its rarely help.
and that's why noone dare to mention it, sit and wait for disk check every block.
thanks
