If I buy a game bundle ffor a game I already have(except the included dlc), what would happen when I redeem it?
so I missed the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne pre-order bonus by an hour before release and cannot buy the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Master Edition on steam because of the bundle whats me to gift it. if i buy the bundle from fanatical, would I receive the dlcs that I dont have??

some previews discussion say that, it would give me the DLCs but wont give me the game, is that true? or would the code be rejected by steam?

You’ll be fine. As the other discussions said, you’ll get the DLCs that you don’t already have but you won’t receive a second giftable copy of the base game.
