game I never bought is in my library now
I recently noticed a game I never bought show up in my library. I looked up my licenses and there's no record of it there. According to its page in my library I acquired it December 26, which is when I bought a bunch of games with christmas gift cards. But like I said, it doesn't show up in my game licenses and it doesn't show up in my activity page or purchases. I haven't been charged for it or accepted any gifts or any shared libraries - it's just there now. The game in question is Worms: Armageddon. I'd like to know why I have this game now. The why is bothering me so much.

Have a look in your account purchase history lisenses see if it was a game you forgot :)
I place my bought games unplayed not installed into a collection for this reason
https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/
Side Note
Steam delivers a free game occasionally. The last one I got was called We Were Here. I just stick them in Steam gifts category. Its a free game and useless to me as it requires other players.
Worms: Armageddon. is not free? Is it installed or uninstalled? Dont install it.
Maybe developers give it to you?
Any concerns I'd contact Steam support and mention the game

I haven't installed it and I don't plan to. I'll take your advice and contact steam support. It's really weird that it doesn't show up in my list of game licenses. Even demos and gifts show up there.

I've found the answer. When I went through the steam support options for that game, it was listed as part of a package with another game that I did buy. "Planet Alpha" apparently had a limited time bundle with "Worms: Armageddon" and I didn't realize that when I bought the game. It's listed as "Planet Alpha Digital Deluxe" in my game licenses. It's still really weird, but now I know.

I just bought a bunch of games and also it showed up in my library. I was EXTREMELY thorough reading what I was buying and it was not in ANY bundle. I hate that it's there and want it removed lmao. Edit* after reading where you found it I also found it was sneaked in through my Planet Alpha purchase?? Nowhere did it say that it was included. I'll be getting rid of it hopefully..

Permanently delete it from your library. It's an advanced hide, rather than an actual deletion, but it won't show in your library, and you can add it back at a later time if you change your mind.
That's cool and all but I have a game called "Spacewar" that is not on my steam purchases, actually not even sure it has a steam store page which is weird because it also said I was playing it for an hour

Youve played a mod that uses Spacewar as base. That, or you've played a pirated game, those utilize the Spacewar mantle.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
