Can't launch games that try to install DirectX
Just got my new pc. It uses windows 10 and it has DirectX 12 installed on it.
Drivers are all updated. I Downloaded doom and it fully installed.
when I go to launch the game it attempts to download DirectX onto the pc even though I already have it and then the bar goes away and it acts like the game launches for like 3 seconds and then nothing happens.
How do I fix this?

Read the FAQ about the problem: Games do not run after 'Preparing to Launch' (Link)

It depends on which version the game requires. DirectX 12 is built into Windows 10.

Go here, download DirectX 9.0c and see if this helps your situation.

Installing of dx is normal for games.
