Steam store, library etc not loading
Hi guys,

So I have been trying to fix this problem for quite a while but no luck>
My steam starts fine, logs in, but then the store doesn't load, neither the library or the community tab, nothing.
The whole user interface is here though.
The only thing loading is the Download section.
And everything works fine in big picture mode.

I have already tried lots of stuff from other posts, but nothing works
I am on windows 7, steam is up to date

I am also having trouble with this. The only thing that loads for me is library. But it is stuck on software and I can't get my games library to load.

Reconfirming that I have exactly this problem. I am unable to play any of my games, much less see the steam store or community, etc.

Come on Valve, fix this.

No changes

open up a command prompt and run
start steam://store/730
see if it opens the game page or gives an error.

Does the Store page load in a browser?

Saw a thread that might've had a similar issue.

Oh, I am actually using my mobile data on my computer via USB thetering. Could that be it?
I have no way to test it atm, no wifi available for that

I think clearing the download cache worked for me
Try deleting the steamui folder and then relaunch steam. This normally fixes black screen issues for the library.

I had the same problem, Steam client won`t load any webviews like Library, Store, Profile etc. in the latest Steam stable release as of July 9th. However, I found a solution. In Steam>Settings>Interface, I deactivated all options below the skin setting, which means all options that need to use the GPU or render interface content. Restart Steam and check if the issue still appears. It fixed my client and everything looks and runs normally again.

As an alternative, even when I had the issue, I could still use Big screen mode and access everything, not the most comfortable way but better than not being able to play your games. Hope I could help.
