where did you get the key? if the site gets filtered - DO NOT BYPASS THE FILTER
I'm aware of what is, but the nature of how bethesda screwed up the Oblivion store page makes me think its a steam problem, not a key problem.
also, remove the sites name, its blocked for a reason.
that site is not a reseller, it is a grey market, they dont get their keys from the game developers. they get them from where ever they can find them - off the back of a truck, the clearance bin at a store, used, out of region, free press copies, demo keys, etc
Valve don't have time or rights to faff around with other publishers licences eliminating and modifying them so people who buy externally don't get screwed over.
That site is like a minefield. you can walk thru a minefield all you want, but at some point you are going to step on something, its only a question of how long your luck holds out. congrats, you stepped on something.
If the game doesn't offer a tailored bundle purchase, that is purely down to Bethesda as they are responsible for their product, licence and licences structure. Also if it wasn't possible to to 'upgrade' the licence rather than a total overwrite replace through an internal purchase, that should have told you clear as day not to buy that upgrade externally.
