Locating Mic. Plug-In On PC:
First try setting it up from your Speaker Icon on the Task Bar..

Global Mic. Setup:
Srry, then go to Windows Settings... Set it up from there,

Enabling Mic in STEAM:
After that, go to STEAM Big Picture Mode, go to Settings...
I think you'll find Mic under Music, or you'll find it under

Audio of some kind, like Ambient Mode or something like that...

Also, make sure your STEAM finds your Mic showing as STEAM Microphone,
& not Windows Microphone...

STEAM STreaming Mic or something it should say...

Srry, for the Double Post, I realized, I found Chat Options
in STEAM Friends List...

Under Voice... This would be the Final Option...

Is setting it up here...

Now you should be fine in Games... & STEAM Chat...

Don't spread misinformation. Almost everything you've said is either wrong or isn't helping OP at all. OP does NOT need to open Big Picture to change his microphone settings. You should get off what you're smoking.

If OP wants to change his Steam mic settings, he should open the settings tab in his friendlist, go to voice and change his voice input device. Most games refer to the default microphone settings set by Windows so this likely DOES NOT do anything.

I don't know what your talking about?

All I did was show where to find the Mic Settings on the Computer
for incase any issues went wrong with the Mic., they can check those
locations...

I am not sending miss-information at all...

My Number 2, is actually the same as your first post...
where I listed Global Mic Setup...

Sometimes if 1 area does not work, another area might,
sometimes a problem can be located in more then 1 area...

For instance, if you only setup your Mic. in Windows Settings,
it may or may still not work in STEAM, because there is no
Garantee that you connected it to STEAM...
