ps3 controller is not being recognized by windows 10

Hi, I have been going crazy, Windows 10 does not recognize my ps3 controller as a Playstation 3 controller, it shows "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)" every time I plug it in, so I can't install any of the softwares that make PS3 controllers work like a x360 controller like MotionInJoy or SCPToolkit because these software can't see my controller in order to apply the custom drivers on, has anyone run into this?
please help i tried everything nothing seams to work

DO NOT connect the controller.

Install ScpToolkit. Tick PS3 driver and force driver, install, ignore PS3 controller failure.

Exit ScpToolkit after install, shutdown PC.

Connect PS3 controller, reboot PC, controller should be detected.

Tick PS3 driver + force driver and this time choose PS3 from list, then install.

Install PSNow, it brings the driver. After uninstalling SCP of course.

It helped with my PS3 controller problems. Also, from what I understand, the PS4 controller should be plug and play with Windows 10. And if it's not, PSNow should have the driver.
