Steam leaving black spot on screen
It started happening recently (days/weeks), for some reason sometimes i find a weird black mark on the right center of my screen that overlaps everything else except the mouse cursor.

I quickly found out it isn't my display (since the cursor covers it just fine) and thought it could be something going on with my GPU and started freaking out.

For the first time i tried closing Steam (and nothing else) just for the sake of testing, and the mark indeed disappeared.

Could it still be related to my GPU or something else, or is it a Steam related issue? Has anyone else experienced this?

Sorry it's gone now, when (if) it happens again i will take a screenshot for sure.

It's a very small black mark, kinda in the shape of a triangle.
Judging by the position, it sounds like it could Nihamic Audio overlay / sonic studio overlay not playing nicely.

This should be added to the FAQ. Thank you so much, I was lost until I found this discussion.

Thank you very much, I've changed that setting and the black dot has simply disappeared.
I changed my monitor because of this problem and when it popped up with the new one, I died.

I have this issue but I solved it by closing "steamwebhelper" in task manager. I was just wondering if other people had this issue but similar to this guy I thought I was having hardware issues lol.

It has been posted multiple times in the bug report forum the past 6 months.
