Storing nude screenshots
Hi guys, i downloaded mods for re2 and been playing around a wee bit, and got plenty of nude screenshots that I would love to store in my steam account PRIVATE, meaning no one else will be able to see these screenshots apart from me. Do u know if im allowed to do so ?

If you keep them private so nobody can access them then there usually isn't any issue. Just make sure to not upload it to community. Fix your settings for private immediately.

Honestly I can more tell you this from experience haha. That and many other people I know that do this. As long as nobody can see it it does no harm.

(Have you ever seen the feed for the game koikatsu or booty calls.) If anything that is a huge violation of community guidelines.

I'm currently mobile so linking things is hard too.

I never have had any issues when it was set to private. Action is taken when someone reports, the image gets scanned or a mod checks it and THEN action is taken. When nobody can see it. Why would it be harmful?

Not even friends should see it. Don't do it. Valve.Steam owns our profiles in that they are stored on a database and Steam has sniffer tools programmed to find anything that contravenes the EUL.

Just keep them on your hard drive and look at them at your own leisure. There's zero reason to upload all your screenshots, or anything like this.

there is actually a reason to store it on steam. You can access ur gallery, on ur phone, ipad, laptop or whatever , it all synced instantly with no hassle, its very ez and convenient, so u can look at ur screenshot in the club, while driving, in the airport etc.

Think about it logically, If the ONLY person to view something is myself, do I really cause harm to anyone ? Its called PRIVATE for a reason, nobody sees it, im not offending anyone, im not abusing anyone, im not being disrespectful to anyone.

Lets say u have a personal online private space, PRIVATE, meaning its only accessible to U, lets say its google drive. Will google drive dictate u what can and cannot be stored IN UR OWN PRIVATE SPACE ONLY VISIBLE TO U ?

There is no such thing as a secure cloud.

There are only "other people's computers".

Steam's storage is not personal nor privately owned by you. Stop using Steam's storage space. Use your own.

Also I'd like to point out that Google drive doesn't legally allow you to store porn. Almost every host will shut that down the moment they suspect or it gets reported.
