I installed a cheat engine do i get banned now?

i always play singleplayers so i installed a cheat engine then uninstall it after, still im scared being banned in multiplayer games, can i get banned?

Cheat Engine usually gives a VAC error, if it's running in the background when connecting to a VAC-secured server, unless you inject CE into a game itself that connected to a VAC-secured server, you should be fine with having that on the computer, when not running.

Just make sure the "singleplayer" game doesn't use VAC because that might get you indeed banned when cheating on it using CE.

And don't forget that there are other anti-cheat solutions than VAC in other games and that there are game bans too.

If there's no hooking / injection, then there's no need to worry.

You can still check the task manager to see if any of its processes are running.

If you see nothing, then the program may've been fully removed.

If Cheat Engine is running you will most likely get a VAC error.

If you actively use Cheat Engine in a VAC secured game, you will UNDOUBTEDLY receive a VAC ban very quickly.

if you play single player games offline with it u wont receive anyban, i used it long time ago on another account to play the witcher 3. and nothing happened.
but if u connect to VAC Security Games (ONLINE MODE) i will receive a VAC ban.

and i would recomend you to Uninstall it, and clean it use ur anti virus, and make sure to KILL THE PROCESS of it when u launch a vac secured GAME !!! otherwise u can take ban, even if ur not cheating, just for having the cheat program on ur pc! take care boy

Are you that bad of a player that you have to cheat? Whats the use in playing the game? Why would you risk getting your Steam Account Banned? What kind of satisfaction do you get out of cheating? I ask, Who is the Loser, the people you cheat, No, It's You.

This is obviously fake. It's the same with getting more RAM or faster CPU using Cheat Engine.

It's better to be safe than sorry. Using cheats in any way, shape, or form is just giving you an extra thing to worry about possibly getting VAC banned forever when you least expect it. Don't download any "cheats" even if it's for single-player games since chances are, they come with malware, keyloggers, viruses, and who knows what else. You could even lose your identity if some malicious program is running in the background with these sus programs you're downloading. Trust me, it's not worth it at all.

Why did you bump this old thread when you should be asking yourself, "why do you need to cheat in a game you've barely put time into"?

Does the game feature online interaction? Does the store page for the game say that it's got a VAC or other anti-cheat system on it?

i actually want to active a command to get free camera and take a few cool screen shots - so what is the answer bro?will i get ban ? or if i just have it installed will i get ban in other games like csgo ? should i re-start my pc to play online games after i opened the cheat engine?

Why don't you do the thing that I seem to have suggested, and look those things up.

Why don't you go to the Vac part of the forum and READ about how Vac works. It's all very clearly laid out for you.
