Does receiving friend invites come with E-mail notifications?
I kinda accidentally sent some invites and am now worried anons will think I'm a weirdo -_-'

As far as I know, no.
The invitation will only appear as message in steam chat.

I would rather like to receive a mail for it, and knowing who is, by it.

More over that now the Steam mobile app provide a notification, but does not say who is.
Then I come in, and I do not find anything. So people can just send and retreat it continuosly, just disappering in the nothingness, and bother me every time, anonymously. Nice move.

Probably a steam preference would make it avoidable, but you could also add a filter in your mailbox. As for all the others mails

It is listed in your new notifications page who sent the invite.
