I linked my debit card to steam and it suddenly took my money out of no where, there is no transaction record but my money is gone. It wasn’t much but i just want to know where the money went.

What makes you believe that your money is gone?

Your debit card will have to be verified, so two small charges will be sent to it - they are on HOLD, they will never be 'used' by Valve or steam, they're to confirm that the account is yours and is available for use. This hold will take a few days to clear.

Was there any money in your card to 'vanish' completely? Because the amounts don't usually add up to more than like 3 dollars or so. If you had less than that on the card, you shouldn't have added it to steam or anywhere, before putting much more cash into it.
