- Do you have the mic muted, is there a button for it on the mic that mute it, or is it muted/disable in the audio recording?
- Do you have the mic plugin correctly?
- This a AUX jack mic, or USB Mic?
- If AUX jack mic, try the back back of your motherboard, instead of the AUX jack in the front of your PC case, use the pink port as normally pink is for mic for most motherboards, otherwise read your motherboard manual, or look at the symbols for mic.
- If USB mic, try a different USB port.
Hello. My Mic is the green and pink jacks. I do not have a mute button on my mic. My mic works in Discord and the actual Windows Settings (it shows it can hear me) but it does not work in games at all.
For games, go into the settings, and check if it set to default for Mic, if not working, change the default to your mic instead.
I have done this several times. Honestly dont think theres much I can do except try and get another headset.
