Can't sign into google/youtube account on steam overlay.

Google has introduced this new nonsense which prevents users from signing into google accounts via the overlay browser as it is "not verified" and is a "less secure app". There is an option in your google account to allow sign in through less secure apps but even with that enabled, sign in is still prevented via the steam browser. Anyone having this problem too/can help?

I made this thread 2 years ago and it's still going crazy. My issue sort of fixed itself after a week but it's interesting to still follow and see what everyone's doing. I love you all and good luck!

This is why i've said multiple times on this thread that they need to support Bitchute as an alternative to Youtube.

That's exactly what I want to do too and it doesn't connect your Youtube account to the Steam Browser anymore if you link your Youtube with Steam on Chrome or whatever browser you choose to do that.

i had this problem but i signed into a chrome browser then signed into steam on the browser and connected my account from their. hope this helps

Because supporting YouTube and nothing else is grossly inadequate for a gaming platform as big as Steam
