Refund Regret
So... this WILL sound awkward but here's my story and I'm only writing this since the sale ends in 2 days:

Earlier today, I decided to play some Half-Life: Source since I heard some negative things about it (plus I wanted to play Half-Life after all these years) so I decided to get the bundle to compare the two myself.

Yeah, Source was bad. I pretty much wanted a refund only on Half-Life Source and Deathmatch Source (since it's pretty much dead) but I can't do that since I bought it as part of the bundle so I had to lose all the games to get my money back.

I requested it and it was accepted... except I didn't feel satisfied.

I don't know why but I just felt like I was better off keeping it instead of just buying the proper Half-Life games individually AFTER I refunded it. Probably because of Team Fortress Classic (even though it's pretty much dead) because there was no discount on it for this year's Winter Sale. So that's my story and now, finally, my questions.

What's the earliest amount of time to get the money in the account back?

Will Steam get suspicious about me buying the bundle again after I just refunded it recently?

Should I purposefully fail the purchase so that it can save the discounts after the sale is over?

Refunds depend, can take up to 7 days. It should be faster if you refunded to your Steam Wallet but if you refunded to a bank account(like a credit card), it'll most likely take several days, especially in a holiday week.

You can buy it again, you'll not have any issue.

You can save your cart if you want more time.

I did refund it through my Steam wallet but how many days should I expect it to be back in the earliest? 2 days? 3?

After approval, as little as 24 hours.
