Report a translation problem
Just filter for the games you already own. It doesn't even have to be a multiplayer game - witness portal 1 is on that list.
So I figured that game is a small download for this purpose since both parties need the same game and it worked for me.

edit: I was a little confused and missed you saying you didn't have one installed, and that you did indeed show to search for games with RMT, but in the end I was able to do a quest without my friend owning the same game, and that is all I was trying to point out.
The MP game I tried was the Forest but doesn't support remote play.
All good we all learning new stuff we probably never would have used.

Your post mentioned they didn't have the same game, I was pointing out they don't need to have the game for RMT, that's all.

Steam worded the quest incorrectly. Lobby doesn't work . Use a game that has remote play . Please see the top of my discussion screenshots to filter Your games that support it.
