Steam won't download some games?
I'm running steam on Pop! OS and it's been working fine. All of a sudden some of the games I try and download just won't download. It'll say it's downloaded and installed instantly but when I click on it it'll say the executable is missing. Some games work fine, like Shadow of the Tomb Raider, but others like Soul Calibur VI and Blasphemous do this. Is there anything I can do about this? I can usually tell which games will do it when I go to download because it won't show any file size when it has you proceed to download, majority do show it just a select few titles don't.

They likely don’t have Linux support.

You can look at the minimum requirements to find out, Linux support usually has it’s dedicated tab. Or ask in the game forum, or Google and YouTube.

I've never had this happen before though because I have my computer set to always use Proton on non linux games and if Proton doesn't work it'll usually download but won't boot.

No clue then, not too familiar with Linux.

Figured it out. Steam Play was set to Steam Linux Runtime and not a version of Proton.
