cant invite friends from shift tab ( steam store quest )

Hey guys CrunchyWrecker found out a simple solution with this one. By downloading this free to play 3 Mb game:

You open the game, Shift Tab, right click on a friend and then click on Remote Play. Friend accepted and all done. Maybe he did not need to accept for the quest but anyways. The above solutions are also very nice too.

Yup worked.

Looked for a game with remote play in my library (L4D), started game, rightclick random in my friend list, told him "sorry, u don't have to accept its just for this stuppid daily quest" and done.

Friend tried getting this token by sending me an invite request for TF2. But the invite request never showed up. I'm unable to complete this challenge too on TF2

Many users have had better luck with the Remote Play Together option than the Invite to Lobby option. If neither of you have a compatible game, this one is 94mb so a quick install

Ok, I must be super lame. I installed Brawlhalla, started playing, pressed shift-tab to go to the Steam overlay. When I right-click on ANY of my friends, I DO NOT see a remote play option, or invite to game option, or anything other than chat, view profile, and a couple other things that aren't related to remote play or join my game.

Please help. What am I doing wrong? This is driving me crazy!

In the main menu just click on one of your friend's pictures and "invite to party"

Are you using the old Library UI? Other users have reported that problem that was resolved by updated.

I got it to work. I was set to Invisible status, so it wasn't letting me invite anyone. Silly me.

Seems that (for now) is just working for Valve games. So, csgo, tf2, dota, left 4 dead, portal, and so on

Yet I did it with Divinity: Original Sin and a friend of mine with Dead Pixels. Any game that supports Remote Play works.
