What did work to invite a friend to play in lobby ?

Find a game in your library that supports Remote Play, you can filter your library on it. Boot that game, open the overlay and rightclick on a friend and choose Remote Play Together.

Thanks for you answer, you need to do with remote play together ? Or it's a Tips sur this Achievement because the quest saying just invite to a lobby !

Yes, I also experienced the same problem with three different games. In two of them, friends could not join lobby due to the fact that the invitation was not canceled, and if the invitation was received and a friend joined in the lobby, this did not count towards the task.

I've tried invite to a lobby none of my friend got it, Remote play does work for me.

If you don't have any game for remote try Brawlhalla. ( works for me and quite a few people too. )

Invite to lobby didn't work for me, Remote Play did work for me. I did the task with Divinity Original Sin.

Didn't work for me with Terraria, Monaco, or Escapists 2. Remote play is on Escapists 2, but as I said: did not work. Annoying as hell.

What didn't work? Two things people accidentally ran into:
- Not having Remote Play actually enabled in the Steam settings;
- Being in invisible mode in the chat, you have to be online.

A lot of people have had better luck with the Remote Play Together option rather than the Invite To Lobby that the task indicates, so if you use a different game you may want to check that it supports Remote Play Together.

OMG... why couldnt they simply say invite your friend to remote play thru steam overlay...instead of saying to simply just invite a friend to play a game...i did it with rocket league and instead of inviting to lobby, right below it was remote play invite...hit that and closed everything out he didnt even have to accept it.
