That should be instand refund.. i didnt even finished download lol.. that's kinda ridiculous.. isn't those automated usually? I remember having my refund almost instantly in the past.
The fact i'm still downloading, is it preventing refund? cuz if yes then i'll finish my download, make a save of the steam folder of the game then i'll uninstall it so steam can consider i'm not using it or anything.. maybe it'll help with refund?
If you buy Elsweyr Digital Collector’s Edition (Currently $26.39) or The Elder Scrolls Online - Elsweyr (Currently $19.79) it includes Summerset.
Skip the The Elder Scrolls Online - Elsweyr upgrade that does NOT include Summerset (Currently $13.19) and skip The Elder Scrolls Online Standard Edition (currently $7.99)
It currently sits with a App ID of 306130. And its over 85 gigs big. There are two App ID's for TESO online. One is 925100 the other 306130.
It may all need to redownload. It may not. I am waiting on the refund to deposit into my Steam Wallet (24 hour) flag. From the Base game and the Upgrade. $22 and some change.
Then I will buy the Elsyweyr Digital Collector's Edition that includes all DLC's. ($26.39)
It will suck if you have to redownload the entire thing again. 100 gigs is no joke.
Also, i hope you're right about the download. I don't want to redownload 85gb :(
Bought the $26.39 (Elsweyr Digital Collector’s Edition) but could have just gotten the $19.79 (The Elder Scrolls Online - Elsweyr ) but the extra goodies looked ok. Since I had them refund me the money to the Steam Wallet I figured go ahead.
Game loads fine. Now to conquer the Internet Disconnect issues.
I was waiting for my Steam wallet money to be available, it was pending!
when i buy something -> time for them to take my money = instant
when i want a refund -> time for them to give back money = 24h to 7days
but yes lol, it takes time to process transaction.. the time just vary depending on how much it's suiting them
It's not really how it works. When you buy something, your bank put a hold on your money and then, it is tranferred to the seller. The seller doesn't get your money instantly after the purchase. Banking takes time.
If you refunded to your Steam Wallet, it should be faster. If you refunded to a bank account(like a credit card), it'll most likely take several days for you to get the money back on the account.
edit: think i found a way to make it work.. i hope so... :S
many people says you have to start the download to make steam create folder but nop, just put it there then start the download.. when creating first files, it'll magically realize it's not empty and then check the files before downloading.. hopefully it'll skip most or all download!
I refunded to my Steam Wallet also because at the time I was limited on my bank account and had enough to cover it before the sale ends on Jan 2, 2020. But waited patiently and it took 24 on the second.
I repurchased what I listed above. $26.39 (Elsweyr Digital Collector’s Edition) and had put a extra $5 on my Steam Wallet. And when I checked out. I was like $0.52 short. LOL And they added it on the Debit Card.
So first charge was $8.47 (For ESO Base with Morrowind) then $13.98 (With Elsweyr only) I had read about Elsweyr Upgrade NOT having Summerset. Requested Refund to Wallet then waited. In the mean time I put $5 on the Wallet because I decided I wanted to do the Elsweyr Digital Collector’s Edition (Even though I originally was just gonna do the under $10 boogie on ESO) But then got to thinking "In for a Penny In for a Pound" Especially since it was a good deal on it all.
Honestly had my fingers crossed that I would not have to redownload it all. Glad it worked out.
