"Invite a Friend to Play a Game"
So I've been trying to do this quest but nothing works, I've tried to invite my friend to different games and none of it works. Any ideas on how to complete this quest?

Go to a compatible game, brawlhala is a free and really small game you can use.
Then you right click another user in the overlay as you normally do but now there should also be a button called ''invite to remote play together'' just click that and you're done, they don't need to accept or join.

Solved. Seems like some blind translation of steam to russian makes the description unclear.

I cannot do that because I get an error saying streaming session could not start, what do I do?

If you don't have a remote-play game. try Brawlhalla on steam. It's free and small size game

It worked when I invited someone to play CS:GO. I had to do it a couple of times, but essentially:

1. I launched CS:GO
2. I opened the Steam overlay (shift-tab)
3. I right-clicked their name on the 'friends' rectangle - the one that is next to 'achievements', 'guides', 'screenshots', etc.
4. I selected 'invite to game'.
5. The quest was completed.

It may not register on the first try. Give it multiple tries, and be sure to attempt the in-game inviting tool as well.
