this is a default message everyone gets, you can do either write to support tell them to lift this wallet restriction and explain you are not doing anything commercially which might take a few back and forth responses to get them to lift the restriction on your steam wallet or you can use another payment method other than your steam wallet to buy these game ie paypal, or a credit card, don't tank up on steam wallet.
if you want to gift someone something right now, you can use any other payment method than steam wallet and it should gift the game(s) to the person you want to them gift them to.
well gotta test the purchase straight via paypal since i havent even thought about switching the payment method and i dont think ill bother the steam support with this anymore or more wasting my time for getting the copy paste stuff :D gonna let you know the result and if its not working i still got the giftcard option
better to have it lifted than have it stay there and give valve some sort of validation this restriction made any sense when it is just silly.
+ the more people that actually write steam support and gets it lifted might help others in the long run.
Valve might see support is getting swamped, by these silly tickets and eventually might revert this restriction on steam wallet.
I doubt they will revert but you can hope.
ye it rlly sucks and i even have contacted them 3 times now they answered 2 times now and thats funny if i talk in a funny way the support starts acting like a human if you want to go sort this out they come with the copy paste way and even tells you you wont get any response to this anymore :D i still have the 3rd one open but i dont think theyll response to it :/ i will send you the way i wrote both texts
and on top of that, they receive more sass, as in a sort of intimidation and you having to be grateful for them lifting the restriction, when you haven't even done anything wrong.
i am not saying you should be harsh but don't think they did you a solid one, they are the ones that are making a mistake and if anything they should be grateful for having you.

soooo i wanted to buy another few games to gift them but apparently i cant it simply say again that theres something going wrong and thats it.
I had the same issue with other games and asked the support. they fixed it but the same thing happened again and here i am again :D so this time its not solving the one problem but solving the whole problem because i dont want to come back again and again :D sooo pls fix the whole thing and thank youuu merry x mas

In my opinion, they still do good job.
imo every support is doing a great job by sending individual texts and not this copy paste ♥♥♥♥ :D
but yea youre right the 3rd support message did the thing they lifted my account now again and im very thankful for that. its just how they approach you if they do like in the 2nd message to the support it simply has nothing to do with support and im fairly new to asking the support about stuff but nevertheless they were fast not like what i heard...well everyone has to decide on their own i will show you the 3rd message i wrote and the answer i got
