Friends gifted me games, but i havn't received any notification?

My friend bought me some games today and gifted them to me, but i havn't received any steam notification or email to say that i've got them. He sent me a screenshot saying their pending, but i still havn't got them. He also cant refund his gifts. Whats happened? How can i get my gifts?

he may have scheduled delivery for a later time (which is possible, I use the feature once in a while)...or just plain not gifted them to you, either way.

I imagine both of you will have to wait until the payment goes through if it is still showing as pending.

It seems as though you're mistaking their payment pending for your gift receipt pending?

I'd suggest just being patient, and perhaps restart steam in the meantime just in case it's steam being slow as molasses which tends to happen this time of sales...
