[Resolved] Nintendo Switch Pro Controller and Steam Link Bluetooth Input Issue
Hello, Steam,

Hope your holidays are going well! I have two Nintendo Switch Pro controllers and am experiencing an issue with them and the Steamlink App for Android. The controllers work great through Steam on Windows and connected through their USB C cable to both desktop and phone, however I experience issues with the analog stick input only when connected via Bluetooth. The input is read (most of the time) but seemingly only half way. For example, a game that controls character movement between walking and running, it will only walk. This does not happen when connected via USB cable to Windows or Android. I've tried editing the deadzone calibration via the Steam Preferences and the in-game sensitivity, which made a mild difference (it will detect full tilt only when pressed in the left-down position). Searching online I did not seem to find much, save for this being resolved with the Steamlink hardware build 600. Does anyone have any other suggestions or controller configuration advice that could assist with this?

*Edit* In case anyone runs into this in the future, I was able to resolve it by increasing the value of the Outer Deadzone within the Advanced settings for the Controller Configuration.

Where exactly might one find this setting? I'm having the same problem but I can't find any advanced settings. From what I've seen, I can only decrease the inner deadzone.

Hey, @brynjare, I just checked and it seems to not be accessible from the Steam>Settings>Controller options. This has a calibration for the controller but only the inner deadzone, as you said. I am still able to get to the settings under the controller configuration under a game's page in the Library. Following the same steps here (https://gamertagzero.com/dirt-5-how-to-fix-controller-deadzones-on-steam/) should lead you to the same settings. Hope this helps!
