You're fine. The money has technically not left your account, it's just being held by your bank.
I made that (failed) purchase through paypal account, so should I just wait those 2 weeks until money returns to my bank account?
I looked at this failed purchase and steam mentions there something about contacting paypal.
Basically problem happened at paypals side, it seems.
But I dont have to contact them, right? I worry paypal would see it as chargeback or something, even though it is only a failed purchase, and according to my bank money should return after 2 weeks anyways.
Well, I have not received games since purchase failed and bank lists payment as unposted. Payment was done through paypal.
I have not contacted paypal yet, what do you suggest then? Just wait 2 weeks and I will be fine?
Ok, I will wait for hold to expire then.
I opened a steam ticket as well when I started this topic, little bit later is when I found out what steam says about paypal.
Still, I mentioned that transaction failed and the rest, perhaps they will officially refer me to paypal, or tell me to wait 2 weeks.
In my case, which was failed purchase, I should be all right if I decided to contact paypal and tell them to cancel the payment, because it failed anyway, right?
Bans happen only in cases where games were received and chargeback happened afterwards, right? This is not my case since payment did no pass through.
