i have recently purchased a steam gift card with $100 credit from best buy for christmas. i went home and attempted to redeem this code for HOURS. i had 4 30 minute bans attempting to redeem this same code every way possible very combination making sure the 0’s and O’s were not messed up. nothing. i just went back to best buy and they would not help out claiming that they can’t do anything because they can’t activate this card if the number is scratched off. i don’t understand, if they sold it and refuse to activate it, how do i get my money?? help please.

If the code is damage, you need to contact support, take picture the back of the card showing the code, bar code the whole card itself clear as possible so they can read it, also want to show a picture of the receipt, showing when you bougth the Steam wallet card, and showing it listed on the receipt as well, and must be clear enough to read the receipt.

I suggest try redeeming the code again, but try doing it 2 - 3 hours from now, if doesn't work, contact support.

i got it to work best buy refunded the money to the original card and just gave me a new one.
